"THERE IS BEAUTY IN Simplicity..."
"We desire to possess a beauty that is worth pursuing, worth fighting for, a beauty that is core to who we truly are. We want beauty that can be seen; beauty that can be felt; beauty that affects others; a beauty all our own to unveil.”

About Kiley
FROM ACTRESS TO MAKEUP ARTIST
I am a professional makeup artist based in Fairfax, Virginia, with over 15+ years of experience. I have a passion for creative arts, performing in musical theatre productions in the NYC/NJ area since a young age. Little did I know that though I loved being on stage, my true passion lay behind the scenes.
I honed my skills in makeup artistry for beauty, bridal, stage, film, and TV during my university years from 2001 to 2005. Afterward, I started my professional career in the Shenandoah Valley in 2005, where I accumulated hands-on experience by collaborating with clients, photographers, and destination brides.
My background in many areas allows me to work with clients to create looks tailored to their needs. I know the importance of layering and building a character's look from scratch while doing theatrical makeup; the beauty of less is more with editorial and paying attention to all the fine details with bridal, film, and TV.
I love to perfect my craft and learn from the beauty industry's top artists. I learned from; James Vincent, Kristina Gasperas, Valentyna Lelyukh, Laetitia Lemak, Ioana Cristea, Danessa Myricks, Ashley Fierro, and Charlotte Tilbury, among others.
My work has been featured in Washington Family Magazine and Everyday Wealth, a nationally syndicated video broadcast of the podcast/radio show hosted by Soledad O’Brien and Jean Chatzky.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, shopping for antiques, traveling, blogging, and spending time with my family and poodle.

I love celebrating people's differences, enhancing their natural beauty, and not conforming to the ideal 'standard' of beauty. We are all different and have unique features which make us beautiful.
Like every art form, makeup is subjective. I specialize in natural, radiant makeup looks allowing the client's beauty to be center stage. I believe that makeup should enhance clients' features, not conceal them. My favorite looks to create are classic ones, as they withstand the test of time.
